This week we’ve added 4 new items to our inventory. First from Tissue Plus, a family company owned and operated right here in Bangor, ME. Our team is working around the clock to find the products your establishment needs, including toilet tissue, and we’re proud to be working with a local company as we do so! Next from ZeeZee’s a Strawberry Crisp Nutrition Bar. This bar has a sweet strawberry flavor, on a soft bed of oats and a yummy frosting zigzag to top things off, and is K12 compliant! From Elkay a new Poly Bread Bag with Perforated holes, letting just the right amount of air in to keep crust crisp. These bags are packaged on a wicket dispenser for fast and easy filling, a great way to display bread! Lastly from Bongards, a Low Fat Mozzarella Cheese Stick, another K12 compliant product. Great addition to your To-Go meals for your students.

Two new products from Major, first a Chicken Soup Base Paste that is Gluten Free. And a Roasted Beef Soup Base No MSG. Next from Piantedosi a new Sweet Burger Roll, pre-sliced and the top bun is covered with Black and White sesame seeds. Lastly from Packer, Bulk Whole Raspberries, great for pies, fruit desserts, smoothies and more!

Delivers an incredibly zesty burst flavor that is the perfect companion to pizza, pasta and salad. Next from Sweet Baby Ray’s their new Citrus Garlic Mojo Sauce. Good for wings, shrimp, chicken breast, dipping sauce, marinade and more. A tangy sauce with hints of garlic, citrus, cumin and oregano. Lastly from Smartfood, White Cheddar Popcorn Reduced Fat.

Like a pumpkin pie only better, these spiced pumpkin cakes surround sweet creamy vanilla filling, a true taste of fall, especially here in Maine. From Pillsbury we have 5 new items. First, Bakers’ Plus™ Devil’s Food Cake Mix won’t crack or crumble, so your cakes will be easier to produce with less scrap. A creme cake mix that is ideal for suspending fruits, nuts and other particulates. Can never go wrong with a Brownie, a moist, fudge-like texture with a rich, intense chocolate flavor. Spice up your breakfast with two new pancake mixes, first a Sweet Pancake Mix. A great alternative to your standard buttermilk pancake by incorporating a tasty amount of sweetness, providing a high quality, consistent, and tolerant pancake in an easy, add water-only format. But if you prefer the buttermilk, we have that too. Lastly from ES Foods, adding to our variety of breakfast kits, a Honey Nut Cheerio Kit.
This week we’ve added 5 new items to our inventory. First from Pillsbury, a new K12 and daycare friendly biscuit. Whole Grain Biscuit Dough, easy split for your connivence. Formulated to produce light and fluffy 2.51 oz biscuits that are made without gelatin, for USDA child nutrition programs meets 2 ounce equivalent grain. Next from Ace Bakery a new Baguette Roll, unsliced. Traditional French white baguette with a creamy and fully developed flavor and perfectly crisp golden crust. Great for an appetizer, or along side a main course. From Mayan, this product is a ready to eat tortilla made with Yellow Corn Flour and added wheat gluten to add flexibility. It’s has a Light Yellow to Yellow Color with toasted marks. A few weeks ago we added the newest flavor from Fox Family Farms, the Sour Cream and Onion. We now have this flavor available in the 6.5 oz bags! Lastly from McCain, a Deep Grove Crinkle Cut French Fry, these are ideal for K-12, daycares and healthcare and appropriate for oven applications.

This week we’ve added 12 new items to our inventory. First from Kaiser, a pickle perfectly sliced for hamburgers, chicken burgers or any sandwich alike. Next from Producers Rice Mill, a new Seasoned Mexican Rice. We have two new items from King’s Command, first a Chicken/Beef Meatball that is fully-cooked for your convenience. Four of the meatballs provides 2oz Eq for Meat/Meat Alternative per USDA. Second we have an All Beef Patty, fully cooked. One patty provides 2.25 oz Eq for Meat/Meat Alternative per USDA. Two more items that are school food compliant from Sunny Fresh, first an inventive offering, an original pre-cooked scrambled eggs with real bacon pieces and chunks of cheddar cheese to create a savory component for burritos, casseroles or breakfast pizzas.
