Three new items have been added to our inventory this week. From Rich’s we’ve added mini whole grain flat bread. With a 1 ounce equivalent of whole grain these mini flat breads are perfect for school and nutrition-minded menus. From Jennie-O we’ve brought in new dark meat turkey patties. These turkey burgers are packed with flavor, and they’re an all-natural and minimally processed. Lastly, in non-foods, from GenPak we’ve added another size of the all new and very popular ProView containers.
This week we’ve added sixteen new items to our inventory: 7oz Angus beef patties. Spicy Breaded Pickle Fries and Honey Sriracha Battered Mozzarella sticks. Smoked Pork Belly and fully cooked, boneless, skinless Seared & Roasted Chicken Thighs. Rye Bread Dough made with light rye flour and ground caraway (unseeded). New Honey Stung breaded chicken with a sweet honey-injected flavor, and Hot’n Spicy Popcorn chicken with whole grain breading. Individually wrapped whole grain Blueberry Bread and Cinnamon Crumb Cake slices. Mug Root Beer and Tropicana Twister in 12oz cans. In non-foods; Jumbo wrapped 7.75″ straws and three new environmentally friendly hinged paper takeout containers.
This week we’ve added 6 new items to our inventory. Now in for produce we’ve added a premium Asian style stir fry medley. From the artisan bakery experts at Turano comes a new Brioche Burger Roll. Adding more options to our line of Fresh Burger Maker beef patties, 5/16″ thick 2.7oz patties. Lastly, in non-foods we’ve added 3 sizes of blue Nitrile gloves from Royal.

New in dairy products this week we’ve added Strawberry Gogurt from Yoplait which come in a pack of 96/2oz tubes.
Here we are with another Thursday edition of our Podcast which is a day later than our usual Wednesday schedule. We’ve also added new Fresh Beef Patties from Burger Maker, Wooden Coffee Stirrers from Rofson, and lastly Purell Hand Sanitizer from Go-Jo.
Just as New Year’s healthy-eating resolutions fade, spring arrives and invites everyone to hop back on the better-eating bandwagon. With spring right around the corner, now is the time to revise menus away from winter comfort foods and focus on fresh greens and veggies to give those diners what they’re looking for.
