K-12 Recipe: Presto Pasta
Popular presto pasta perfectly pleases, pacifying picky pupil palates!
100 cooked, whole grain pasta item #8668
25 cups pasta sauce
192 oz sausage style crumbs (or vegetarian substitute) item #72650
100 oz grated parmesan cheese
1 cup Italian seasoning item #7800
- In a saute pan, fully cook the sausage style crumble (or vegetarian substitute) to 165˚F
- After sausage is fully cooked, pour the pasta sauce and Italian seasoning in the pan. Let that simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Pour the cooked whole grain pasta in to the saute pan with the sauce.
- Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top, and serve!
