Credit Manager
Hampden, ME

Dennis Paper & Food Service, a 100% Employee Owned Company (ESOP) is a fast growing leader in Food Service Distribution. We distribute high quality food service products to restaurants, schools, convenience stores, hotels, and healthcare & industrial accounts throughout Northern New England.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), we’re seeking a full-time Credit and Collections Manager to lead our credit team and join our finance department. This key position’s primary focus is on credit management balanced with customer service, working directly with our customers as well as our sales and operations teams.
In addition to being the credit team leader, responsibilities involve hands-on work including establishing customer credit limits, collection of customer accounts, overseeing all aspects of accounts receivables, and supervision of credit team members.
The position calls for a positive minded, friendly professional who has the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in credit/collections is ideal. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential.

Class A Delivery Driver
Bangor

Due to rapid growth and expansion, Dennis Paper & Food Service is now accepting job applications for delivery drivers in our Bangor market. Routes depart daily from our headquarters in Hampden, Maine.

Candidates must have a professional appearance, be self-motivated, safety conscious, must have excellent customer service skills and must have the physical stamina to deliver food service products in the heat of summer and the cold of winter.

Delivery drivers leave from the aforementioned location each morning and deliver frozen, refrigerated and dry food products and cleaning supplies to our customer base of schools, hospitals, hotels and inns, restaurants and take-outs.

Compensation is based upon number of pieces delivered, miles driven and number of deliveries.

Night Order Selector

Night Order Selector Trainee

When the sun goes down, we get to work!

We’re growing and we need self motivated individuals with a strong attention to detail! As a Night Order Selector you are responsible for correctly identifying and selecting product(s) throughout the facility as well as safely and effectively building pallets to facilitate ease of delivery.

Night Order Selector Trainee positions work in a warehouse environment, which is fast paced, repetitive and require continuous movement.

The schedule is Sunday – Thursday with the occasional Friday, 5:30pm until the job is done.

Starting pay is $14hr and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verifying product being picked is consistent with the policies and procedures as set forth in our Food Safety Plan
  • Ability to work in the freezer
  • Ability to operate several types of Powered Industrial Equipment
  • Strong adherence to all safety measures
  • Ability to lift 10 –70 lbs is required and performed repeatedly throughout the course of the shift, occasionally lifting 100 lbs from all possible pick locations to include below the waist/knees and over the head. Lifts may occur at a rate of 125 times per hour

Qualifications Requirements:

The Night Order Selector must possess basic reading skills. The Selector must also have the skills to read and or identify or record product associated with the tags.
