Drivers Wanted in Lewiston, Maine

Dennis drivers are compensated based upon the number of pieces delivered, miles driven, and number of deliveries. This is a Monday thru Friday position with optional weekend work. Our drivers return home to their families daily. And, as an employee-owned company, our drivers are owners too.

Minimum pay per day is $293.15. Full route pays an average of $350 dollars per day.
Our driving team’s average salary is up to $100,000 a year or more.

This position is also eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus paid out in two installments ($2,500 after a successful 120 days and $2,500 after the successful completion of one year of service).

Due to rapid growth and expansion, Dennis Food Service is now accepting job applications for Class A Delivery Drivers in our Lewiston, ME market. Routes depart daily from our location in our Lewiston yard.

Candidates must have a professional appearance, be self-motivated, safety conscious, must have excellent customer service skills and must have the physical stamina to deliver food service products in the heat of summer and the cold of winter.

Class A Delivery drivers leave each morning and deliver frozen, refrigerated and dry food products and cleaning supplies to our customer base of schools, hospitals, hotels and inns, restaurants and take-outs.

Compensation is based upon number of pieces delivered, miles driven and number of deliveries.

This is a Monday – Friday position with no weekend work.

Candidates must have the following:

• Current and valid CDL A driver’s license
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening and criminal background check
• Must be able to lift up to 100lbs and lift 10 – 80lbs frequently
