Foodservice Hacks: 3-Minute Makeshift Smoker

#KitchenHacks

If you want to add rich smokey flavor to your dishes – here’s an easy way to create a makeshift smoker in just a few minutes. Smoke your own meats with supplies you probably already have on hand.

Don’t allow the absence of expensive smoking equipment keep you from small scale smoking projects. If you have a 6” or 4 “ full hotel pan (or in my case a 2” hotel pan with the addition of aluminum foil) and a 2” perforated hotel pan… you have a smoker. Be creative, think outside the box and smoke ’em if you got ’em.
